I had a chance to attend practice yesterday with my media pass in hand and it was good to see so many players on the ice. I counted 21 at practice which means the Americans will have a full lineup when they take on the Utah Grizzlies tomorrow (Wednesday) night. Still missing from practice were Jake Paterson, Spencer Asuchak, Will Lochead and Kameron Kielly. They will not be cleared to return to practice until Thursday.

- Allen's current roster is a combination of youth, talent and experience. The Americans are the youngest team in the ECHL with 12 rookies. The Americans have nine NHL/AHL contracted players on the roster. Allen's roster has a combined 624 games of AHL experience.
- The Utah and Wheeling line brawl on Sunday ended up with one player from each team being suspended for one game. Utah defenseman Brandon Fehd will miss the Allen game.
- Former Allen forward Vincent Arseneau scored three goals over the weekend to help the Utica Comets win two games. On Saturday Arseneau had two goals including the game winner in Utica's 4-1 win over Syracuse. For his effort he was selected as the #1 star of the game. Vinny's three goals in Utica's two wins also earned him Player of the Week honors for the Comets.
- Joe Garreffa is scoring at a pace of .50 goals per game, seven goals in 14 games. His seven goals are tied for second among ECHL rookies, just one behind the leader, even though he missed 12 games when he was recalled by San Jose.
- Corey Mackin has been Allen's most consistent player. Corey has not missed a game all season and has gone two games without a point just one time. He leads the team in goals (12) and points (26).
- Allen is down to just two players that have played in all 26 games, Mackin and Les Lancaster. The Americans had at least one player play in every game from the first season in 2009-10 through the 2018-19 season. Last season, which was shortened to 62 games, no player played in all of them.
- Allen's balanced scoring is reflected in game winning goals. Nine different players have scored game winning goals in Allen's 14 non-shootout wins. Here are the players with more than one game winning goal this season:

- I will have a complete Allen vs Utah game preview tomorrow but these teams are evenly matched. They have played four time this season and the Americans have won three of the games including two of three in Utah. However, two of Allen's three wins came in shootouts.
