Even though the Americans are playing in Utah tonight (Friday) rather than doing a game preview by pointing out all of the team's recent struggles I thought today would be a good time to cover a few topics I have been thinking about lately. One being the team stats leaders and how they compare to the ECHL stat leaders. Second, after seeing Darryl Bootland and Casey Pierro-Zabotel wearing leadership letters (A's) for Colorado Wednesday night it struck me that there have been a lot of players that played on championship teams in Allen that have gone on to be leaders on other teams. You will be surprised at the length of that list. Finally, a check on how some of the players from the past are doing in Europe. If you are interested in the game preview check out the press release from Tommy Daniels, "Road Trip Continues Tonight In Utah" at this link: https://allenamericans.com/road-trip-continues-tonight-in-utah/
