It was a tough Thursday morning for the Allen Americans as they lost the season opener to Tulsa by a score of 8-2 before a Kids Day crowd of 7208 at the BOK Center. It was the worst opening game defeat on the road in team history, but oddly enough Allen has had two opening day games at home that were worse. The most goals Allen ever allowed in a season opener was at home against Tulsa in 2014-15 when the Americans got beat 9-6. The worst defeat in a season opening game also took place at home in 2020-21 when Wichita shutout the Americans 7-0. Allen's opening day record is very symmetrical. The Americans overall record is 8-8 and includes 4-4 at home and 4-4 on the road.
- It is hard to say the outcome was a surprise since Tulsa had gotten off to the best start in the league. The Oilers are now 3-0-0-0 and have scored 19 goals in three games while allowing just four goals. When you can average 6.3 goals per game and allow 1.3 goals per game you are not going to lose very often.
- Despite giving up the first goal of the game the Americans outshot Tulsa 9-8 in the first period. Tulsa took a 1-0 lead into the first intermission. The second period was dominated by the Oilers who scored four unanswered goals while out shooting the Allen 17-8. Allen managed to score two goals early in the third period (Kyle Crnkovic & Artyum Kulakov) to cut the score to 5-2 before Tulsa rattled off three straight goals to make the final score 8-2. Here are the video highlights: https://echl.com/videos/allen-americans-vs-tulsa-oilers-oct-24-2024
- I touched base with coach Adams after the game and he was very straightforward in his assessment of the team's performance:
"Our compete level was not at the level it needs to be."
"We tried to be too cute all over the ice."
"We need to simplify our game and play more straight lines." (north-south)
- It could be out of the frying pan into the fire as Allen returned home to face Kansas City tonight and tomorrow night. The Mavericks were the best regular season team in the league last season and have a team full of NHL/AHL contracted players. While Allen will be playing three games in three days, Kansas City is well rested having not played since last Saturday.
- As you might expect with Kansas City entering the two game series against Allen with as record of 2-0 and the Americans being 0-1, the stats heavily favor the Mavericks. The stats can't mean too much this early in the season, but nevertheless, here is a comparison:
- Goals for average: Allen 2.0 - Kansas City 5.0
- Goals against average: Allen 8.0 - Kansas City 3.5
- Shots for average: Allen 23.0 - Kansas City 32.0
- Shots against average: Allen 37.0 - Kansas City 29.5
- PP percentage: Allen 20.0% - Kansas City 37.5%
- PK percentage: Allen 80.0% - Kansas City 90.0%
- Allen's record against Kansas City last season was 4-10-0-1. At home the Americans were 1-7-0-0. Over the last five seasons Allen's home record against the Mavericks is 12-13-1-0.
- The keys to winning against Kansas City will be first and foremost getting off to a good start. Last season Kansas City had a points percentage of .857 when scoring first (34-4-3-1) and Allen had a record of 11-27-2-0 (.300) when giving up the first goal of a game. The Americans can't give up the first goal against the Mavericks and expect to win.
- A second key to the game will be to win the special teams battle. Stay out of the penalty box by avoiding stick penalties and holding penalties. Half of Allen's home games will have two referees. The game tonight is one of those games. Referees Rocco Stachowiak (#28) and Ben Betker (#56) will work the game. It might be Betker's first trip to Allen while Stachowiak had several Allen games last season. In a game in Kalamazoo he called just two minor penalties. At the other end of the spectrum, working as part of a two referee game in Idaho, there were 19 penalties for 123 PIMS.
- The final key will be goaltending. Whoever gets the start today, which I assume will be Thornton because he did not replace Wells yesterday after Allen gave up eight goals. In normal circumstances when Tulsa took a 5-0 lead in the second period the backup goalie would go into the game. That is unless the plan was to start Thornton tonight. He will likely have to steal the game from Kansas City by making some saves that shouldn't be made. It will be a tall task and he will need a lot of help from the defensemen and forwards.
- I was at pregame skate this morning but it was optional so I am not sure what lineup changes or line changes will be made for the game tonight. If I get the lineup card later this afternoon I will post it on Twitter and Facebook and update the blog. I did hear newly acquired forward, Harrison Blaisdell, is still on his way to Allen and will not play this weekend. I counted 16 players on the ice for an optional pregame skate which is very unusual for a three games in three days week. I was reminded many of the players had never been on the main rink ice so wanted to get a feel of it. The ice crew has been working diligently to get the ice ready for tonight. UPDATE: Here is the lineup tonight. The only changes in the lineup from yesterday is defenseman Hudson Wilson has been released from his PTO with Tucson and is back in Allen and will be in the lineup tonight, replacing Quinn Warmuth and Anson Thornton will get the start in goal:
HARRISON BLAISDELL
- The Allen Americans traded for forward Harrison Blaisdell yesterday. The rookie had signed with Fort Wayne in August but never played for the Komets. He was on the 3-day injured reserve before he was activated and traded to Allen for cash considerations. Fort Wayne was assigned a player from its AHL affiliate (Bakersfield) yesterday which likely required the Komets to reduce its roster. Here is a report from the local TV station:
- Blaisdell has an interesting background. He is from Saskatchewan but was born in England (Sheffield). His dad (Mike) finished his pro playing career in Great Britain and was a long time head coach in the EIHL (Nottingham & Sheffield). His dad's playing career included 343 NHL games (Detroit, New York Rangers, Pittsburgh, Toronto). His grandfather (Wally) played for Fort Wayne (IHL) for one season in 1954-55.
- Harrison Blaisdell was the 5th round (#134 overall) pick of the Winnipeg Jets in the 2019 NHL draft. He is 25 years old, 5"11", 181 pounds, left shot center/forward who completed his collegiate career at the University of New Hampshire last season. He played two seasons at the University of North Dakota from 2019-21 before transferring to New Hampshire for the last three seasons. In his NCAA career he played in 140 games and scored 42 points (16G, 26A).
- When you read scouting reports about Blaisdell from his junior years before he was drafted the one consistent trait in all of the reports is about his fire, emotion, passion and motor. Being the son of a former NHLer and a hockey coach, he is the type of player that gives it his all every time he is on the ice or in the weight room. One quote said, "He can play in all situations, never wastes a shift and can provide a spark."
- Here is a story about Blaisdell's family connection to the Komets. I am sure it is disappointing he never got to play a game in Fort Wayne and never get his 89 year old grandfather to watch him play with the Komets, but DFW is a great place to visit in the winter.
OTHER COMMENTS
- As the second week of the ECHL season begins there are 11 undefeated teams remaining led by Reading and Tulsa at 3-0. The number of undefeated teams after the weekend games will be much smaller. The last two years have seen some long win streaks to start the season. In 2022 Worcester set the all-time ECHL record winning nine straight games to start the season, but missed the playoffs. Last season Atlanta won eight games to start the season (#2 all-time). After the 8-0 start Atlanta went 15-45-3-1 the rest of the season to finish in last place in the standings (.347). Kansas City won seven straight to start last season (#5 all time) and went on to one of the best regular seasons in ECHL history, #5 at .792.
- There are 10 games on the ECHL schedule today. Here is a preview of all 10 games from ECHL Today: https://echl.com/news/2024/10/echl-today-oct-25
- It is still very early in the season but there are some interesting numbers and players among the ECHL stats leaders.
- The top three players in points are all with the Tulsa Oilers, six points in two games.
- Former Allen forward Tyler Poulsen (Tulsa) leads the league with four goals.
- Two defensemen, Patrick Kudla (Idaho) and Andrew Lucas (Tulsa) lead the league in assists with five.
- Kansas City's Max Andreev leads the league with 16 PIMS.
- Two goalies, both from Atlanta, (Drew DeRidder and Ethan Haider) lead the league in save percentage at 100%.
- 2023-24: 26% (10/38)
- 2022-23: 24% (7/29)
- 2021-22: 17% (8/48) - The first 11 penalty shots this season were unsuccessful
Barry, love the blog and the ability for everyone to vent their happiness and frustration.
ReplyDeleteThe general consensus is we will end this weekend 0-3. There is monumental fan frustration that by my eyes I’ve never seen the like before of this magnitude.
Surely, LJ reads the blog and is cognizant of the issues. This looks like a slow motion ride off the cliff.
Everyone has valid concerns:
1. BJ was a better option than Costello how?
2. Was the intent to blow the team up?
3. Did LJ not have any hockey acumen to understand the challenges last season posed?
4. Why are they even allowing interactions with Zawyer?
5. What will REV bring to the table?
6. When will Mydra be given decision making powers back?
And finally, will I get kicked out tonight for bringing a “Time to bring Costello back” sign?
Go Red!
LJ needs to depart.
DeleteAlong with an JV/OHL half season coach.
Get new ownership.
New GM.
New coach.
Simple.
Talent will then want to play with Allen.
Agree
DeleteAgree also
DeletePeople call for Jerry Jones to sell the cowboys just about every other day.
ReplyDeleteTime for Myles to sell and give his mom a job elsewhere.
For everyone’s sake LJ, please focus your attention on your book signing tour and your other ECHL interests.
You’ve destroyed a team.
I miss Tissue Boy
ReplyDelete😂😂😂 - I’d post but… I’m just a “out of touch” “paid for by” troll who doesn’t understand how great Chad is… sorry was.
DeleteTrue True How are you enjoying the season so far?
DeleteJust curious. If Costello was the coach and he lost the first game by the same score, would there be massive calls to fire him right away and bring back Martinson?
ReplyDeleteWell since we would still have all our players from last season plus the ones that were coming here, the score would not have been what is was…. So kinda a mute question
DeleteDumb question - thanks for playing
Delete^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
DeleteDont ask questions like this…it just lets them spin up into how chad was sooo amazing and cured cancer. If he was here then we would have yet another amazing .500 season. 🙄 (see now they will respond with a bunch excuses about injuries and how LJ sucks… etc they never have new material.)
DeleteBTW. I missed the part in tonight’s game when the crowd broke out in chant to bring back Chad? What period was that in? Weren’t y’all going to put laser pointers in the banner. Kept looking. Nothing showed up. 🤡’s
It was there amongst the 700 crowd. You didn’t hear it?
DeleteLasers got taken at security.
Clown….
Yup the new owners are trash. Sell the team!!!!! Yall know nothing about hockey and have destroyed lives and our reputation. Sell!!!!
ReplyDeleteDitto. Second that.
DeleteWell y’all here’s my take on things
ReplyDelete1. It looks like Zawyer’s fingerprints are going to remain on this team for most of, if not all of this season. This severely limits any hope of substantial change this year.
2. We have owners with deep pockets but not much business experience, let alone hockey experience.
3. We have a president with business acumen and experience running a minor league hockey franchise who seems to be limited in his authority.
4. Right now we have REV with experience in sports management, although not in hockey.
So we have ownership with good resources, management with experience and hopefully an outside organization with sports management experience. Not a bad nucleus to build from if managed properly. If we could somehow add Martinson to the mix who knows what might happen!!!
Whilst LJ is involved, no one will come back and word around the league is run away fast from Allen.
DeleteThe moment Myles lied to Costello - he lost all trust forever.
LJ, not having any clue, went along with Zawyer and was adamant Costello wasn't the guy and was "excited" to find our new coach.
As lame as can be, this was lame.
Enter, wait for it, a half season OHL coach, who didn't make a full season before he was fired. Out of any respectable job for 2+ years.
Let's get serious folks.
Maybe if Martinson was here we’d still have Colton YellowHorn, Bruce Graham, the Ludwig’s, and Jodie Benn
DeleteWho the hell is Jodie Benn???
DeleteAnd Kip Brennan, Liam Huculak and Derrick Mathers. We certainly wouldn’t have gotten beat 8-2 and not had one dust up. Wondering where the heart on this team is.
Deletelol. Chad Costello. Franchise savior lol. You all remind me of 10yo olds with a hard on for your 5th grade teacher
ReplyDeleteFlashbacks of school must be rough you
DeleteNope, not a savior. No one has used those words.
DeleteFiring Costello eroded trust.
If you understand Myles lied to Costello 2 weeks before he was fired, then you’ll understand the basis of the comments and references.
What we are saying is someone who was building a foundation, after themselves learning on the job, was fired for the wrong reasons, and we have now taken 10 steps back.
All while pi$$ing players, sponsors and fans off.
It’s all pretty simple. Any argument to the contrary just shows you have no idea and haven’t been paying attention.
TissueBoy is now posting anonymously …
DeleteYep - figured he would pull that stunt after yesterday
DeleteStunt? Anonymous posters bitching about people posting anonymously… you guys literally are a joke.
DeleteYou will complain and bully anything and anyone. Ha ha. Do you need a hug?
^^^^so what’s your point?
ReplyDeleteThe point is you people are holding on to something that has past. So be in the now and stop crying you want things to be the same. They are not and will not. Despite the reasons for it, it’s a fact so stop crying and move forward
ReplyDeleteSays the fan supporting a 1-9 or 0-10 start, and who cheers for a sub 0.300 season.
DeleteYou’re my hero.
Aim low bro 💪🏻
DeleteThe now SUCKS - like you!
DeleteIt’s f’ing minor league hockey. Stop maki g it out to be the end of the world. Jeez
ReplyDeleteYet you are on here preaching like a crazed megalomaniac
Delete😁
DeleteOr maybe you can all form a human chain around the events center and refuse to move u til your demands are met?
ReplyDeleteOr maybe you can phuck off
Delete😁😁😁 now that is phkn funny
DeleteBest comments on the blog I’ve seen in a while.
DeleteThis is hilarious
DeletePoint being elements for success are there - just putting them together is the issue. Absolutely need a seasoned and respected Coach/GM to make it all work. This season is a bust - trying to look ahead. I’m hoping the tint on my glasses isn’t too rose colored.
ReplyDeleteNeeded sunglasses for that trainwreck of a performance yesterday - will need blinders for this weekend
DeleteSounds like you all need a bottle of some sort
ReplyDeleteStarted with that May 30th.
DeleteHasn’t got any better.
Oh come now Junior, that’s no way to be. Clever though you are not
ReplyDeleteAt least I’m not crying about a coach being gone. You are all such suburban babies.
ReplyDeleteOK you intercity POS
DeleteSuburban, Mayberry …. You really need to work on your insults, must be new to hockey
DeleteWelcome newbie!
DeleteMayberry is a suburb? Of what - Pilot Point? Damn you are beyond clueless Gomer
DeleteIt’s shame that you are all forced to go to the games. There should be a law against making people to to something they hate. If only you had a choice
ReplyDeleteWho said I'm going to the game - I can watch trainwrecks on YouTube for free - plus I live 700 miles away now
DeleteTissue Boy - please post with your given name. I spent time and effort assigning that name to you and I don't like seeing it go to waste
DeleteMany of us had to buy season tickets when we still thought we had an ECHL coach and a decent team. For some reason they do not want to refund our tickets. It is sad some people pay for the tickets and I have been hearing for a while there are ton of free tickets available.
DeleteI received 2 emails from the team offering free tickets, with the option to get up to 6 tickets to either Friday or Saturdays game.
DeleteThey will post sell out crowd numbers of both games. But it won't pass the eye test of those of us at the arena
Dave - this isn’t me. You know I am not shy. Was slammed at work today and was actually late to the game. Just now catching up… I will say… it feels good to read some of these posts… I’m not alone!!!
Delete1-9
ReplyDelete2-8 .. will be trading for some talent at the expense of I owe you's at the end of the season.
Deletelol then why do you even care?
ReplyDelete17-55
DeleteCoach fired at end of season.
Myles sells 51% of the team to local investors.
But there’s a little secret someone owning 10% that let’s just say, some might not have known about at closing. Any insiders?
They can block a move
DeletePlease don’t say Joe lol
DeleteI've heard 2 stories.
DeleteOne is a company owns 10% (could be REV, not sure).
The other is a former Allen hockey player, now property fund owner has 10%. I forget his name.
Let's just say some were surprised to find this out when they did.
Zane Schartz was the name told to me.
Delete^^^ fact
DeleteWe know more than LJ and Myles.
DeleteIt's phkn funny.
Allen American fans are dialed in.
Here's another minority owner:
DeleteRodd Newhouse
Zane Schartz? Must be paying mediocre SPHL players pretty well now-a-days. Not even the best player born in Plano
Deletegoogle his name. President of a property company.
DeleteBecause I’m a Cari g person🥸
ReplyDeleteNew to hockey, lol. I was watching hockey before many of you were born.when there were only 12 NHL teams. Although I like the poster who mentioned Kip Brennan . Nice reference
ReplyDeleteOh and what does intercity mean? That like Dalls/Ft Worth? Minneapolis/ St Paul?
ReplyDeleteLike Oak Cliff gomer
DeleteOuch that was both witty and hurtful. How will I recover?
ReplyDeleteProbably with a cool compress and Preparation H like you usually do...
DeleteQuestion- How many of the negative posters about BJ have Coach hockey at the Jr level before? And I don’t mean house league kids
ReplyDeleteQuestion - how many of negative posters about murderers have ever murdered before? And I don't mean manslaughter or negligent homicide kids...DO YOU SEE HOW RETARDED YOU SOUND?
Deletegiddy up Memphis Dave!
DeleteThis clown is beyond belief! What planet does he call home?
DeleteDoesn’t take a genius to read a resume. Check back in after KC.
DeleteResume? Surely he wasnt hired based off of that?
DeleteHorrible.
Fans called it
I'm deciding whether to go to the game where we will be annihilated or order door dash and watch the blog.
ReplyDeleteI see how regarded YOUR comment sounds. Glass banger
ReplyDeleteI didn't know you wife was named Glass
Deletelol go Dave go
DeleteHaha spell check
ReplyDeleteOh I have(murdered that is) and might do it again for the right price. It’s just a job. Nothing personal.
ReplyDeleteNo you haven't Dweeb - insects don't count
DeleteI’m gonna have to go to the game and watch all you special needers try to make it through the game without crying your Costello tears( no offense to Costello. Not his fault these yentas are up in arms. He’s probably laughing at all this)
ReplyDeleteI’m gonna go to the game. Find some of you cry baby’s and casually say -man can you believe they let Costello go? And then just watch you implode lol🥸
ReplyDeleteYou do that turd....
DeleteMemphis Dave. The funniest guy in his assisted living. Has all the blue hairs laughing
DeleteFunny and correct.
DeleteBeen supporting the team a lot longer than you by the sounds of it.
If any players take the time to read this, just laugh and know these cry babies have to go back to their cubicles and TPS reports on Monday while you get to play hockey. That’s funny
ReplyDeletePlayers are posting you moron…
DeleteWell then they are laughing
DeleteThey are. This blog is pretty damn funny. Especially today.
DeleteThose that disagree about Costello oughta be happy as a pig in $hit this weekend when the Americans are 0-3 and have one of the largest goal deficits in the ECHL.
ReplyDeleteBJ is not the solution. Unfortunately.
Well aren’t you in the know
ReplyDeletePony up big boy.
DeleteYou think he is?
Provide us all some justification
What are you trying to say?
ReplyDeleteScore Predictions for Tonight!
ReplyDelete7-1, KC of course
1-9
Delete1-9 also
DeleteIt's a shame we can't remove the Anonymous option. It would be nice for people to have a set of balls and put their names to their trash talk. I am far from a defender of this teams actions but when I question them I am not a pussy and hide behind anonymous posts.
ReplyDeleteWe know who's posting what on here - very easy figure out.
DeleteGlad you're not a pussy Kevin - that is no way to go through life.
😁
DeleteHonestly what does it matter?
DeleteThere are those posting facts and how poor decisions have been.
Then there are those defending ownership.
Pretty Black and White.
I got a set of balls. Thanks.
DeleteMy expectations for this season are the lowest they've ever been. Will wait 10 or 12 games to pass judgement, and hope they prove me wrong. I thought the new ownership would make us better, but they seem to have no clue what they are doing.
ReplyDeleteI’m too lazy to have wasted time with a name. But you have shamed me into respectability. Well played sir, well played.
ReplyDeleteCome on man. Were just in here having a little fun, breaking each others balls. Just having fun. Then you gotta start in. Now go get your shine box Memphis Dave.
ReplyDeleteMemphis Dave is just calling how he sees it. Which is pretty accurate.
DeleteShane others can’t see the decisions made by LJ.
Her self promotion should be on show this evening. I hope she gets booed.
DeleteTotally clueless.
LOL!!!!! Too funny - shine box! Thanks for making my night
DeleteI will say this though, and I’m serious. Some people need to lighten up and have a little sense of humor. Yes I know the events that happened suck. But it’s done. You can’t go through life being this serious about things man. It will kill you in the end
ReplyDeleteIt’s all good. People just venting because they spend good money on this ECHL team and commit months in advance to renew and they see stupidity at all levels. The club is being run into the ground. They will lose more money this season than last and don’t have a plan to fix it. Generally that doesn’t end well.
DeleteWell I would say that if I were at the game, I’d boo LJ too. That would be both funny and appropriate
ReplyDeleteOff the ice, how's the front office staff look to anyone that is at the game tonight?
ReplyDeleteI think they lost some good staff members from the last few years
DeleteIf you attend tonight’s game, you get a red towel 😁
ReplyDeleteNo, you get 6 based on the crowd.
DeleteThe lady who sang God Bless American has a beautiful voice !!!
ReplyDeleteLame crowd.
ReplyDeleteNot sure why they stopped playing Red Kingdom.
ReplyDeleteChanging that intro was a mistake.
DeleteIt’s no longer the Red Kingdom.
WOW - haven't seen live of a crowd since the cardboard cut out COVID days
ReplyDeleteMyles looks so uninterested.
ReplyDeleteMyles is a joke.
DeleteUninterrsted. Looked like he’d rather be watching paint dry.
Oh Boy - this is going to be great!
ReplyDeleteFlounder - circ 1962
People wake up.
ReplyDeleteSTH are mad. Many aren’t there tonight in protest.
STM are there lol it’s the ones who had to start paying real prices from the end of their covid special deals that weren’t bc they didn’t renew.
DeleteThe crowd was less tonight bc Allen football had a home game.
Nah. Many thought not attending tonight was a stand against decisions made - it showed. The arena was half full.
DeleteThen they are stupid. They still get the money do they don’t care if your butt is in the seat or not. They still will. lol
DeleteHorrendous crowd
ReplyDeleteI'm not there. How many ppl would u say?
Delete2,900 actual is my guess
DeleteBetween 2,200-2,600 is mine
DeleteI'd guess 2000. The red towels make it look more full
DeleteOfficial attendance - 5,517
DeleteWhat a joke.
Mostly full on a Friday night against allen eagl football. Gotta tip your cap to the ticket sale team.
DeleteSays the staffer leaving the arena at 1am for their job security. You compete against football October thru Dec. get a life
DeleteIt looked like the goalie had a bad game.
ReplyDeleteSomewhere between 2-3,000 tonight.
ReplyDeleteFree tickets being given out for tmrws game.
WOW …. decimation of support and people thought the comments were a joke.
Not a good look giving free tickets out for game 2 out of 36.
Thanks LJ for destroying the club.
Low level fame chaser. It gets old.
ReplyDeleteI'm surprised nothing has changed.
Lots of basic things should change but its the same old same old.
For some reason she things she's important and funny, and Katie Floyd hasn't done anything new in a long time.
When Floyd is speaking that woman should be no where near Floyd
ReplyDeleteAgreed. But it's nearing time to replace Floyd.
DeleteFloyd is better than just about every other host in DFW. Seriously, who would you rather have? A host/MC's job is to entertain and provide substance during breaks in the game
DeleteFloyd is great. It’s actually the game day operations person who should be replaced. Not too hard to come up with new ideas games and fan interactions.
DeleteInstead of being an usher, she's focused on being a part of everything else. Embarrassing.
ReplyDeleteThat's hilarious.
ReplyDeletePaging Tissue Boy.
ReplyDeleteStarting the season 0-2.
Satisfied with BJ and the roster?
With being outshot by the degree they did, if it weren't for Thornton, we'd be down 8-0.
DeleteBJ you have work to do.
OHL hockey wont work at this level.
BJ is terrible.
DeleteTerrible persona.
How the hell was he hired as the best choice to replace Costello?
Those that picked “Team is in shambles”, please stop by will call and claim your prize.
ReplyDeleteChad Costello this evening 🍿😁
DeleteToo early for the "Fire BJ Adams" chant?
DeleteNope!
DeleteLJ - sell the team.
ReplyDeleteYou are an embarrassment and your decisions delusional.
Myles lied.
LJ agreed we needed change. Delusional.
A train wreck.
DeleteOutscored 12-2 in 2 games.
The game atmosphere this evening was just low vibe. Something seemed wrong - crowd was super low. Felt like a midweek game.
DeleteHer name is Betty. She’s a cancer survivor and a nice person. She has a job to do, did she hurt your feelings when she told you you can’t walk during certain times during the game lol that’s a league rule. You must be the pucker who wrote your long letter about Floyd last year and posted it online but forgot to delete your phone number and address. That backfired on you, which was hysterical. Don’t be a jealous old hag.
ReplyDeleteWow. What a day for me to be slammed at work….I feel as if I don’t even know where to start.
ReplyDeleteSo I’ll say this. The haters are going to be empowered by every loss. And if anything good happens they will call it luck or because Chad had something to do with it.
To players, parents of players, and fans who like me are tired of the b!tching. Stay strong and ignore these people. They will go away. They always do.
Or you can just say. Everyone else was right and I was wrong. This team from top to.bottom is just as bad as everyone was saying.
DeleteIt’s going to be a loooong season. TB - take ownership now!
DeleteIt’s ok.
If BJ started 3-0 instead of a likely 0-3, we’d all be eating humble pie and acknowledging it.
Who is the guy that does the radio with Tommy? Maurice or something.. wow is he a negative guy about the team. Knows a lot about what needs to be done. Maybe he should jump behind the bench with the coaching staff & help out. Guys a loud mouth super fan from the sounds of him on the broadcast. Just an opnion
ReplyDeleteMaybe he is dialed in, sees the insanity and is a fan. Hard to fault him. He’s been doing it a while. Most would agree with him. It’s his job to be a color commentator.
DeleteThey are both horrible. Announcing definitely needs a change.
DeleteKC announcers are great. You’ll learn and know more listening to them.
DeleteHaters gonna hate. B1tches gonna b1tch
ReplyDeleteI will buy out all season ticket holders….at Pennie’s on the dollar
ReplyDeleteThanks for the offer Myles/LJ.
DeletePass.
Fix the phkn problems.
And you would be over paying too but if you are gonna just give tickets away for free, go for it LJ/MJ.
DeleteStrong crowd given it was H2H against Allen Football. Hopefully the boys pick it up on the ice tomorrow. Should be a fun one.
ReplyDeleteAgreed. Red towels were a nice touch. Good to see them do the little things to create the atmosphere. Props to the front office staff.
DeleteSeriously?
Delete5 days ago they were hoping for a sell out. Ask them.
Whoever runs the game ops does a great job. Made it a really fun time even though the score was bad.
ReplyDeleteThe last 3 comments sound like a staff member to me.. word of advice.. at least spread out your times to post. You must of just got home from the game. 🤦🏻♂️
ReplyDeleteYep! 🤔🙄
Delete^^^^^^ 😆
ReplyDeleteSee what I did there
ReplyDeleteTrue fans can only say negative things LMFAO!
ReplyDeleteBJ is a great coach. Yall don't know what it takes!
ReplyDeleteAre you serious? Or drunk?
Delete🤣🤣🤣 good one
DeleteSeriously drunk
DeleteDon’t think he isn’t a great coach.. just not at this level. Hired to be fired. It’s a business
ReplyDeleteGet rid of the Jacks.
ReplyDeleteFire BJ Adams.
That’s a start to fix things.
Ok the taking shots at the Jacks, that makes sense since they messed things up. But seriously, this vitriol against BJ- uncalled for. For those who keep dumping on him, hope you go to work Monday f’k up and get fired. If you own your business, hope your customers leave you.
ReplyDeleteLOL - If I was as incompetent as BJ Adams I would fire myself
Delete
