Don't get me wrong, there were a couple of good checks, but that last Fish goal was just painful to watch. 4 guys and not one of them put French on his arse! The officiating the last two games was pathetic to say the least. So many non-calls and I don't buy the non-calls from the officiating crew just because it is "playoff hockey." Rules are there for a reason (player safety and fairness) regardless of what time of year it is. Idaho knows they can get away with cheap shots so they take them. They also know that if we try to settle the score we will get the penalty. I guess the T-shirts with "Allen against everybody" should add a line "and the refs."<br />It seemed like we reverted back to some old bad habits. Even though we had 42 shots on goal, I can count on one hand how many were made with someone in front of the goalie. He is too good a goalie to not get someone in front of him. We had way too many turnovers.<br />For two nights in a row one of their players skated right through 4 of our players and got goals. None of our players even tried to take their player off the puck. Very, very disappointing.JSM44444https://www.blogger.com/profile/15996914182605123809noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8080859446542191581.post-42904437841695962412018-04-23T10:50:26.086-05:002018-04-23T10:50:26.086-05:00I disagree Barry... If you watch the Campagna hit, you'll see Thompson take his right hand off his stick 3ft from Campagna to lower his shoulder and brace for the impact and then thrusts his shoulder up through Campagna's face. Had both players gone down, I might have agreed that it was just a collision. However, Thompson kept his feet because he knew it was coming, braced himself, and took a cheap shot to the head on a defenseless player.Rick Gipsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07016357776142619829noreply@blogger.com
